Here is my answer to the gentleman. My answer is that 2 or 3 percent of royalties, if you can afford the lawyer to get them, are no substitute for getting 20 to 30 percent of the action, which is what an inventor gets when he lines up the money, the investors, and he gets to produce his product himself instead of trying after the fact to get partial payment from a company that took his invention.
