“A great gentleman, Cato Cedillo, who served as my assistant district administrator for 23 years passed away early this morning, and he was a real hero. He was a guy from San Angelo, Texas, who helped everybody, who had a heart as big as all outdoors; and I swear he could do more with a telephone, getting the problem solved, than the rest of us with a bank of computers. Cato was a wonderful, wonderful person, and I was with him and with his family last night as we said good-bye to Cato. It is sad. He will be greatly missed around his hometown of San Angelo, Texas, and San Diego, California. I thank the gentlemen for letting me mention him in the closing moments of our special order.
