Multiple uses of public lands necessarily require the balancing of occasionally competing interests and objectives. The most appropriate parties to make decisions regarding wildlife habitat development and other uses and activities are state wildlife managers who are most familiar with site specific conditions, habitat needs, and the impact of sporting activities.
