Regarding the Nevada test site, I referenced this as a member of the Senate Armed Services Committee. I am very familiar with the important work previously done at this site. For example, I believe the United States has conducted 100 aboveground nuclear tests and 804 underground nuclear tests at the Nevada test site. So I ask the chairman of the Energy Committee, is this the location proposed to serve as the interim storage facility under the Murkowski- Craig bill?
