I think there are a lot of misconceptions about SNAP, and I think it stems from who people think are on SNAP.

If you make hunger the number one priority, then I can guarantee you that governors will have to listen, corporate CEOs will have to listen, nonprofits will have to listen.

If you authorize it, if Congress creates the opportunity for this, we will be more than happy to utilize that program.

If you take SNAP and you reduce it or you eliminate it, you are obviously going to impact not just the poor families that are receiving it.
