if we are for equal pay for women and men who do the same work, then this is the amendment to do it--the Paycheck Fairness Act, which was introduced under Senator Daschle's leadership. It provides stronger remedies in wage discrimination cases and provides resources to educate employers on wage discrimination. It ensures that women cannot be retaliated against for sharing their pay information with fellow employees. It is time to stop giving America's women lipservice for equal pay for equal work, but to actually do something to make it happen. That is what this amendment does. I urge its adoption.
