I further ask the Senator, would she concur in this view, that perhaps what this is all about is really not about a procedure but it really is about fundamentally getting at Roe v. Wade? I say that to my friend from California because 4 years ago when this came up, this Senator along with the Senator from California offered the same amendment. It said that Roe v. Wade--we recognize it as the law of the land and it should not be overturned.
