I certainly understand and share her and Senator Bingaman's commitment to the important Hispanic-serving institutions program. These colleges and universities are very important to the academic and economic success of Hispanics in our nation, and I do intend to seek the higher House funding level in conference in order to further expand the ability of these institutions to serve their students and their communities.
