I applaud their efforts to protect this Nation's food supply and minimize the suffering of nonambulatory animals. The clarification I have concerns animals raised by farmers and then custom processed so that all of the meat and meat products from that animal will be for the farmer's personal use. I understand that this amendment does not affect a Federally inspected facility's ability to engage in this type of processing.
