The Office of the Assistant Secretary for Preparedness and Response (ASPR) and the Biomedical Advanced Research and Development Authority (BARDA) are currently implementing legislation that Senator Kennedy and I worked on to help make sure our country is prepared to respond to an act of bioterrorism or other public health emergencies.
