Madam President, I thank my friend from Kansas. I think he makes some good points. I would say to my friend, I think we ought to go through processes in our committees to have hearings on nominees to flush out things such as that. So to that extent, the Senator from Kansas is right. We should not have, especially if there is any controversy at all--I suppose some of them are noncontroversial--but if there is some controversy out there, yes, I think the committees ought to have the responsibility to bring them forward. Let the committees question them. We did that in our HELP Committee, I say to my friend from Kansas. I am trying to remember the person we had--oh, a lot of controversy about Craig Becker, I think, who was going to the NLRB.
