Let me be clear. The Liberty and Security Committee believes that the FBI should have the tools necessary to protect our citizens.

Whenever we grant powers to the executive branch of government, we must incorporate proper safeguards to protect individual rights.

But we strongly believe we need to protect the liberties of Americans.

The U.S. taxpayer should not subsidize and bear the risk for private development on coastal barriers.
