I think the blue ribbon commission is very necessary to get the answers that we ought to be able to get. So we reflect on the joint committee and the ability of Members, all the other things that demand our time and so on. I think it becomes pretty clear that we need this extra assistance to give the country and to give those families the information that they need, and they will not be satisfied with anything less. So I tonight rise in appreciation to support this conference report because its time has come, and the people in this country ought to know that this committee under this leadership, the gentleman from Florida (Mr. Goss), the gentlewoman from California (Ms. Pelosi), have done everything that they can possibly do to protect our country to be sure that one of their principles of safety, principles of war and principles of safety, is to have good reliable intelligence and to be timely and to be accurate.
