Leonard L. Boswell: “I think there is a solution, and I think I am looking at the people who can put it together.”

Who would have ever thought Abilene, Kansas, somebody would end up as Supreme Allied Commander and President of this great country?

I just want to thank you again for your attention and your dedication to this cause, Mr. Chairman. I've noticed that for years you and the ranking member have worked together, and you're doing the right thing. Thank you very much.

I feel it is an honor and privilege that Leonard Boswell, born in a tenant farmhouse, gets to be here today and bear testimony and make comment, that I am just proud to be part of the memory of Dwight Eisenhower.

If we don't give the tools to do the job, for example, to the IRS and if this fiscal cliff thing happens, they don't have the capacity to deal with their responsibility.
