This is not a choice, I would say to my friend, between public education and private education. In fact, I do not believe the gentleman is trying to suggest that private education, particularly church-based education, is not good. I do think we need to support public education. It is not a choice of one or the other. This is to help those who want to make that choice. There are many who make that choice all the time.
