“I think that is exactly right. And I would just comment on the thrust of some of the comments the gentleman made when he was wrapping up his conversation on welfare. Do you know what struck me? It was when the gentleman was talking about the organizations that have maybe gone a little bit south and have not had some of the support they had in the past, and the fact that we do not know our neighbors, and maybe we seem to be a little more closed off and that we are not as responsible. And the thought came to my mind that really what John Kasich is trying to do, and the people that supported his plan, and those of us that have tried to add our 2 cents to his effort is we are really trying to recapture the American dream. That is really what this is all about. The $500 per child tax credit is just one very small downpayment on that American dream.”
