As a result of a cancelled flight and circumstances out of my control, I was unable to cast a vote on March 25, 2019 on a bill under suspension of the rules. Had I been present, I would have voted ``yes'' on H.R. 1616. ____________________

This election is so much bigger than Senator Grassley. Again, it's about our democracy. It's about making sure that we have folks who believe in the truth and are going to stand up and defend it.
You do not get to say those words on the floor of the U.S. Senate, defend a president who was trying to stay in office after he lost an election and expect to get reelected in a state like Iowa.
We will defeat him. Because again, you do not get to talk about democracy in the way that he has, you do not get to subvert it the way that he has, and at the same time, decide that you’re just going to keep getting reelected.
