On behalf of Senators Johnston and Breaux, I offer an amendment that would direct the Secretary of Agriculture to transfer 85,000 acres of the national forest in Louisiana to the Secretary of the Army for use in connection with training and maneuver activities in connection with Fort Polk, LA. I believe this amendment has been cleared on the other side of the aisle.
