another important point, a lot of women feel, well, we are getting ahead, equal opportunity. We are going to college, we are getting better jobs, but the statistic that is really glaring is that the average female college graduate earns less than the average earned by a male high school graduate. Now that shows the income disparity. We all know that the formula for Social Security is based upon income. So right off, the women, even the college graduates, are getting much less under Social Security than the men and therefore our special concerns have to be noted.
