I ask unanimous consent that when the Senate completes its business today, it adjourn until 10 a.m. on Tuesday, July 15, 2014; that following the prayer and pledge, the morning hour be deemed expired, the Journal of proceedings be approved to date, and the time for the two leaders be reserved for their use later in the day; that following any leader remarks, the Senate be in a period of morning business until 12 noon, with Senators permitted to speak therein for up to 10 minutes each, with the time equally divided between the two leaders or their designees, with the majority controlling the first half and the Republicans controlling the final half; that following morning business, the Senate proceed to executive session as provided for under the previous order; further, that following the cloture vote on the LaFleur nomination, the Senate recess until 2:15 p.m. to allow for the weekly caucus meetings; finally, if cloture is invoked on either of the nominations, the time until 3 p.m. be equally divided and controlled between the two leaders or their designees and at 3 p.m. the Senate proceed to vote on confirmation of the nominations, as provided under the previous order.
