I want to assure him and my colleagues that I strongly support the provisions of the Berry amendment and I am not interested in supporting any legislative action that would harm our nation's specialty metal industry or its employees. The exemption of the Berry amendment for the Multi-Year Aircraft Leasing Program was a unique situation and I do not believe the multi-year leasing program should be the basis for any modification of the important aircraft-by-aircraft content requirements inherent in the Berry amendment.
