Daniel Akaka: “The policy of banning Native language use in schools was adopted by the Territory of Hawaii.”

Last Congress, bipartisan legislation was introduced by Senator Daniel Akaka (S. 998) and Representative George Miller (H.R. 1867) to address this problem and assure that all pilots are provided fair benefits.

That is why I have worked hard during my time in Congress to educate, protect, and empower consumers.

I fought to include a report on remittance transfers in the Dodd-Frank provisions.
