I believe that it is essential that we, as a Nation, recognize our darkest moments, so that we don't have them repeat again.

The most important thing we have to do is to ensure that the public believes that we know what we're doing.

It is encouraging that Congress was able to include a bipartisan package of reforms in the Omnibus passed earlier this year.

What we're here to do, all of us, is to try to build back public confidence.
