Madam President, I have a parliamentary inquiry. I have information that indicates that approximately 300 amendments were considered and that of those amendments, 161 amendments offered by Republican members of the committee were adopted during the consideration of S. 1679. Is that correct? The PRESIDING OFFICER. The Secretary of the Senate's office, through the Senate Library, cannot confirm the total number considered but can confirm that 161 Republican amendments were adopted.
