In total, at least 50 law enforcement officers to date have been charged with, or accused of, using ALPR systems for unauthorized purposes.

Right now, there are no federal policies to punish or even track when one of the 140,000 law enforcement officers across the country with access to license plate tracking data misuses that information.

Fort Gordon military personnel and their families deserve the best care possible. That’s why I’m working across the aisle to stop this shortsighted closure.
