Let me assure my friend, Mr. Maffei, that the staff on this side have been very, very diligent in trying to get this written testimony approved.
We are trying to prevent deaths, and I think this is an emergent situation or I would be objecting very vehemently myself.
I just want to remark to my dear friend, good friend, my coworker on our Oversight Committee, that as he stated in his remarks, it has been something I have been very concerned about and I am extremely concerned just like my friend, Mr. Maffei, is about this very issue.
As a family-care doctor, I just want to state that something I fought my whole medical career is overutilization of antibiotics in patients.
Whatever we can do, whatever you can do, whatever the medical community can do to try to help stop this overutilization of antibiotics is something that I focused upon my whole medical career.
The treatment of veterans is not only a moral issue, but a national security issue as well.
the cartels are using these just as a money-making factor for them, plus they are continuing their criminal activities.
