I truly believe that the banking industry has long contributed to the problem and must now work toward a solution.

I have been actively working with members on this committee and the Committee on Small Business to be the voice for Main Street in the rulemaking process, Main Street America, what our country is all about.

The good analysis is talking to Main Street America. The banks are nervous. The banks are already getting scared to death of this.

I also want to applaud our banking regulators for finalizing the Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) rule.
