Student-athletes must be treated with dignity and respect, and I think that is what we are here to all talk about today.

My hope as we gathered here today was that we would have a good faith discussion on how we can use the lessons that we learned from Covid-19 to improve our pandemic preparedness and strengthen our public health system.
