Lucy McBath: “The mission of DHS is somewhat ubiquitous; be it at airports or disaster sites.”

Our legislation addresses gaps in disaster response that impact survivors of natural disasters the most — being without their homes and their support systems.

I back its closure 110 percent. Closing the facility was the first step in a long and harrowing process.

I am proud to support this legislation to ensure our teenagers can spend this pivotal moment in their lives focusing on things that will positively shape them into adulthood.

I want to keep an eye and focus on making sure that I protect their interests as well.
