Jimmy Carter: “I am directing that executive departments and establishments take immediate steps to reduce the use of petroleum fuels.”

This is a very wise and very courageous thing for President Obama to do. And in my opinion, is long overdue.

All of us must learn to waste less energy.

Base on what I just said, which I can't retract.

I would prefer a much more rapid withdrawal myself and I don't know what the, you know, what the recommendation will be until I see the written report.
