Jimmy Carter: “I want the American people to understand my character, my weaknesses, the kind of person I am.”

An overwhelming portion of the intensely demonstrated animosity towards President Barack Obama is based on the fact that he is a black man.

I don't agree with that at all.

But among those who believe the case should be re-opened are politicians who don't always agree with each other, ranging from former president, Jimmy Carter to conservative former Georgia congressman, Bob Barr.

I say to you, quite frankly, that the time for racial discrimination is over.
