Jimmy Carter: “Father's Day is a time for all of us to reflect on the sacrifices our fathers have made on our behalf.”

This is a very wise and very courageous thing for President Obama to do. And in my opinion, is long overdue.

All of us must learn to waste less energy.

We share a belief that the church was to no way be confused with a political community, no bound to any political system.

Without immediate action, we are at genuine risk of civil conflict and losing our precious democracy.
