Jimmy Carter: “The best day of my life was the day they turned the lights on in our house back in 1936 or 1937.”

I watched him on television. I thought what he said was absolutely ridiculous. There's no rational or logic to what he had to say.

This is a very wise and very courageous thing for President Obama to do. And in my opinion, is long overdue.

All of us owe them our gratitude and respect.

I would prefer a much more rapid withdrawal myself and I don't know what the, you know, what the recommendation will be until I see the written report.
