Jimmy Carter: “An informed and engaged citizenry is essential for the health and vitality of our democracy.”

This is a very wise and very courageous thing for President Obama to do. And in my opinion, is long overdue.

There's only one chance and one life to count for something. And my faith tells me, or my faith demands, that I use whatever I have whenever I can, to make a difference in people's lives.

I hope that this book, which is -- has a provocative title, but I don't consider provocative to be a bad word.
