I am asking the Congress to abolish our existing welfare system, and replace it with a job-oriented program for those able to work.

The primary impetus of this whole bill is to make sure that it's always profitable for a family to take a job.

Every family with a full-time worker will have an income substantially above the poverty line.

It's unfair to the poor and wasteful to taxpayers' dollars.
