Jimmy Carter: “All of these proposals go generally toward these objectives and the strengthening of our system of justice.”

The title was very carefully chosen by me. And the first word is the most important. It's Palestine. The land of the Palestinians. It doesn't refer to Israel at all.

All of us owe them our gratitude and respect.

But inside Palestine, outside of Israel, where the Israelis occupying forces are there, the persecution and deprivation of the Palestinians is horrendous.

I don't think the administration has ever picked up the ball, much less dropped it.
