Jimmy Carter: “This agreement will at least give the families of the area... the financial freedom to pack up and leave if they choose…”

I watched him on television. I thought what he said was absolutely ridiculous. There's no rational or logic to what he had to say.

I recognize that Israel is a wonderful democracy with freedom of speech and equality of treatment under the law between Arab Israelis and Jewish Israelis.

Well, the agreement is not supposed to help the Cuban dictators and it doesn't. But the agreement does it helps both the Cuban people and the American people in the long-term.

I fear for our democracy.
