As far as I am concerned, as far as the State Department is concerned, as far as our Nation is concerned, there is one issue, and that is the early and the safe release of the American hostages from their captors in Tehran.

We have now reached an agreement with Iran which will result, I believe, in the freedom of our American hostages.
I don't think the administration has ever picked up the ball, much less dropped it.
I would prefer a much more rapid withdrawal myself and I don't know what the, you know, what the recommendation will be until I see the written report.
The amendment would resolve these difficulties and facilitate greater safety by allowing a State of registry and a State of the operator to agree to transfer these responsibilities to the State of the operator.
