Jimmy Carter: “This strike is having a severe, adverse economic effect on farmers throughout the Central United States.”

Carter says the animosity directed at the president over health care, the big bailouts, is being driven because Mr. Obama is a black man.

This is a very wise and very courageous thing for President Obama to do. And in my opinion, is long overdue.

I fear for our democracy.

I don't think the administration has ever picked up the ball, much less dropped it.
