I was told, my staff was told, that we couldn't use charts, so I can't present the chart, but if I could, I would present a chart that would show that every Democratic administration since Kennedy has left office with a better deficit situation than they inherited, and that every Republican administration since Nixon left office with a worse deficit situation than they inherited.
