That is the understanding of the Senator from Nevada, we have had no hearings at all. I must tell the Senator from Maryland that the financial institutions in my State are supportive of CRA. If we want to take anecdotal evidence, I have to say financial institutions in my State have indicated, one, it is good public policy, and, two, they have financially benefited. But there is no record before us, based upon any hearings or testimony--and I must say I think that there is opportunity for hearings to be held. When we are dealing with some other regulatory relief issues in the Banking Committee, that might be an appropriate time to bring people in so we can build a record. My understanding is that we have had nothing to that effect and, indeed, this Senator has been on the committee now for 11 years. Financial institutions in my own State are very supportive of the provisions.
