Let me reclaim the floor and simply make the point that this bill, if it ever reaches the President's desk, will be vetoed. I have no question, based on the assertion not contradicted in any way, this statement was released yesterday. It has not been contradicted. I can understand why the Speaker may be reluctant to talk with my friend from Alaska because of the strong views. I suspect the nuclear power industry has also been unable to get a response.
