We have had a number of different individuals testify, Chairman Bernanke, CBO Director Elmendorf, Mr. Lew from OMB, and each of them affirmed--I have asked each of them this question, and I will ask it of you as well--related to the draconian cuts proposed in the continuing resolution that we are considering right now by the Republicans and the impact that they would potentially have on the recovery.
