How can we sit here today--are we serious?--and say, regardless of the physical, emotional, and psychological trauma, the women and girls who survive these vicious attacks, that does not matter?

I believe the officers knew or they should have known that punching Tyre in the face or kicking him in the face could cause death or great bodily harm.

We've just got to make sure that we improve our resiliency, cut some of the red tape so we can make people whole again, repair, restore some of the bridges and roadways that are completely closed.

But we`ve got to come together, as I said, at the local and state level. We`ve got to join the federal partners, and deal with this issue, particularly in the state of Florida.
