America deserves and needs a strong FEMA, one that can fulfill its mission every time it is called upon.

This topic is incredibly timely, given the tornadoes that struck southwest Florida Sunday morning, destroying dozens of homes.

I am grateful that FEMA is already on the ground assisting with the damage assessments necessary for Federal assistance.
