I look forward to this hearing--from hearing from each of you in how the United States can better save this population and hold the government of Myanmar accountable for its abuses.

These attacks are tawdry. I mean, they are just cheap shots that aren't going to solve any problems.

Since the final days of the cold war, the United States and its trans-Atlantic allies and partners have been motivated by the vision of Europe, whole and free.

Without some accountability and transparency, we do not know where that money is going.
