It appeared as though the driver, diagnosed with a mental illness and having fled his home in south Florida, may have wandered into the park and its over 7,000 acres of forest, sinkholes, rattle snakes, ponds, alligators, and trails. Deputy Sheriff Lloyd O'Quinn and K-9 Eins began tracking the subject through the woods until becoming physically exhausted in the heat.…”
