“Woman, I have an amendment at the desk. The Acting CHAIR. The Clerk will designate the amendment. The text of the amendment is as follows: Page 81, line 12, strike ``and'' at the end. Page 81, after line 12 insert the following (and redesignate the succeeding paragraph): (2) the threat to the national security of the United States posed by telecommunications companies that are subject to the jurisdiction of a foreign adversary; and Page 81, line 22, strike ``and'' at the end. Page 81, after line 22 insert the following (and redesignate the succeeding paragraph): (3) the threat to the national security of the United States from acquisition, importation, transfer, installation, or use of any communications technology by any person subject to the jurisdiction of the United States that involves communications technology designed, developed, manufactured or supplied by, controlled by, or subject to, the jurisdiction of a foreign adversary; and The Acting CHAIR.
