Madam Chair, I understand that, and I appreciate that the chairman's concern is the broad nature of the amendment. Still, my hope is to work with Chairman Simpson and Chairman Upton to find a solution to this problem. I cannot and shall not sit idly while this administration singlehandedly destroys the most reliable and affordable energy source in the world.
