It goes far deeper than that. I think it is appalling that we think we have to call a committee hearing to address something that is so fundamental in the raising of our children.
I think we should start by expecting that the social media companies enforce their own rules about the kind of content on their platforms that put Jewish students, in particular in recent months, in harm's way.
Speaking out on antisemitism is not and should never become a political or partisan issue.
We must hold schools accountable. We must protect all students, and we must work together in a bipartisan fashion and declare zero tolerance for antisemitism.
